I Am Kalam is a film about a poor Rajasthani boy, Chhotu, who is inspired by A. P. J. Abdul Kalam. The role of Chhotu has been performed by Harsh Mayar, a Delhi slum boy.[1] The plot revolves around Chhotu and his strong desire to learn reading.

The film has been premiered at 63rd Cannes Film Festival on May 12 and set to be released in December 2010. The film is directed by Nila Madhab Panda.[2]
